This program is aimed to foster youth international leaders on developing vision of globalization, sustainability, and leadership while enhancing the cultural and education exchange between students from U.S. and China. Students will participate in programs located in three different cities in China: Beijing, Chengdu and Dujiangyan.
Program
Students will explore China and build cross-cultural skills through a series of academic lectures, student exchange, volunteer activities and field trips.
- Exchange with Students in China: Fully immersed in Chinese culture through exploring Chinese high school life at Hamilton’s sister school: Dujiangyan Senior High School of Sichuan. Take at least 20 hours of classroom learning and academic lectures.
- Stay with Host Family: Experience the lifestyle and authenticity of Chinese life at Chinese host families.
- Engage with Service Projects: Participate in service projects through volunteer activities at schools and non-profit organizations including the world famous Giant Panda Homeland and special education school.
- Experience China through Field Trips:Discover the long and rich China history by visiting famous attractions including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Leshan Buddha, and Qingcheng Mountain.
